Missouri State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick was the fastest treasurer in state history to return $1 million in unclaimed property to Missouri taxpayers, having done so in just nine days. As treasurer, he has already returned over $45 million. He also created an innovative and automated system to return unclaimed property to children owed child support if an owing parent has unclaimed property held by the Treasurer's Office.
In 2003, Scott Fitzpatrick founded MariCorp U.S. as a boat dock repair firm on Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob, Missouri. In 2006, he expanded the company's reach to include manufacturing and installation of new docks and boat lifts.
Scott Fitzpatrick graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Management. He lives in Cassville, Missouri, with his wife, Mallory, and twin sons Luke and Carson.
